Our financial year is from 1 April to 31 March with annual subscriptions payable by 1 April.

Subscriptions paid 1 January - 31 March enable new members to use library facilities immediately, with full membership entitlements commencing 1 April - see below

All fees are in Australian dollars.

Membership Entitlements: All members receive copies of the society's journal Tasmanian Ancestry, published quarterly in June, September, December and March. (Journals to overseas members are posted airmail.) Members are entitled to access to the society's five libraries. Access to libraries of some other family history societies has been arranged on a reciprocal basis. TFHS Inc. policy is that our branches offer reciprocal rights to any interstate visitor who is a member of another society and produces their membership card.

• Email TFHS Inc. State Secretary giving your postal address and requesting an application form.
• Application forms may also be obtained from the branch libraries or branch secretaries.

Tasmanian residents should return their forms and fees to the treasurer of their closest branch. Subscriptions are also accepted at libraries and branch meetings.
